Who is responsible
Cleria AS, Tollbugata 8a, 0152 Oslo, Norway, is responsible for the personal data collected through this website and for customer relationship data we process as a controller. Product, research, and dashboard data may also be governed by our Terms of Service and a separate customer agreement.

Personal data we collect
We collect personal data you choose to provide, including:
- Contact details such as name, work email, company, role, region, and message.
- Newsletter or update subscription details, if you subscribe, including your email address and subscription source.
- Demo-booking details submitted through our booking provider.
- Website request metadata such as referrer, user agent, and basic technical information used to operate and secure the site.
If you become a Cleria customer, the relevant agreement describes the product data, research data, and user account information processed in connection with the service.
How we use personal data
- To respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, and arrange demos.
- To send product updates or research content you have requested.
- To operate, protect, and improve the website and lead-capture flows.
- To manage customer relationships and provide Cleria services under customer agreements.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights where necessary.
Legal bases
Depending on the context, we rely on consent, legitimate interests, performance of a contract, and compliance with legal obligations. For example, we use consent for optional optional email updates, legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries and secure the website, and contract necessity when providing services to customers.
Processors and service providers
We use trusted service providers to operate this website and related workflows. These include infrastructure and database providers, email delivery providers, demo-booking tools, and other services needed to run Cleria. Examples currently used by the website include Supabase for data storage, Resend for lead notification emails, and Calendly for demo booking.
We do not sell personal data. We share personal data only where needed to provide the website, respond to requests, operate Cleria services, comply with law, or protect our rights. A data processing agreement (DPA) is available on request.
International transfers
Some providers may process personal data outside your country or region. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to manage the customer relationship, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete or update your data through the contact page.
Security
Cleria is GDPR compliant and built to keep client data private and respondent data anonymous to clients. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access to systems is limited to people who need it for their work. Customer data is hosted in the EU, in Stockholm, Sweden.
AI and customer data
Client-specific data stays private to the customer team. Cleria does not share client-specific data with other clients, and specific client data is not used to train AI models.
Respondent data
Client reporting is aggregated, and respondents remain anonymous to clients. Cleria does not expose individual respondent identities or respondent-level exports to clients, and does not share raw responses outside Cleria and its affiliates, as described in our Terms of Service.
Cleria may store, process and use data in aggregated, anonymized form for product development, analysis, and improvement of its services, as set out in the Terms of Service.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the site and any booking or form experiences you choose to use. When analytics is enabled, we use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-focused service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal information for advertising.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise your rights, contact us through our contact page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website, product, or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date above shows when this page was last revised.
